New Profile Picture

The new picture for my profile is a monogram I created using an Elvish script superimposed over a shot of the moon I took through my telescope, a bit tricky, but gratifying. The shot that is. By the way, feel free to leave encouraging comments if you like what you see or just let me know who's visitin'.... and remember, if you can't say nothin' nice, don't say nothin' a-tall.

Christmas Eve Eve

Wow, got lots and lots of photos. It'll be awhile before we can sort through them all. Here's a photo and an album from Christmas Eve at my moms to start with. UPDATE: And here is the slideshow. Again, if yer still on dial-up, skip the slideshow.

"Sets"

HL got a Playmobil Viking "set" for Christmas, and he loves it. He got several "sets". It was funny to hear, 'Wow, I got a pirate set', 'cool dad I got super hero set'. Everything was a "set"... of course all of us older boys had fun putting them together. On Christmas Eve we allowed HL to take out the hull of the ship and one Viking. When he woke up Christmas morning and saw his ship out and put together he exclaimed, " Mommy, mommy, my Viking ship came out!"

Gettin' Older

He could use a hair cut eh? AW's hair is pretty long, but the curls in his hair have done a good job of hidding it. When you get that first haircut, you go from being the baby to a little boy. So we've been putting it off, but I guess it's time. AW has learned to climb chairs. It has made it much more difficult to keep an eye on him. Best of all he can use the chair to climb on top of the table...

Just Moved

I have a friend that just started blogging, and I think she's got it right. So I thought I would take this opportunity to redo the look of my blog and say...
