Cookies and diaper changes

We had a very nice surprise show up this afternoon- cookies from Laura. And, I learned the (so far) only surefire way to get AW to lay still through a dirty diaper change- give him a homemade Laura cookie! Worked like a charm. He's at the age where getting his diaper changed is, to him, tantamount to being tortured. For any of you who haven't experienced it, changing a dirty diaper on a 20 month old can be dangerous business!! A little more on Laura... Laura is amazing. She remembers every special day and sends cards without fail. Many a time she has comlpetely cheered my day. I can only dream of being as thoughtful as she is. Thank you Laura!!
