It used to be that AW would cry, and occasionally scream, when mommy left for work. But the other day, he saw me put on my jacket and instead of crying, he said "no coat, no coat mommy." My coat stayed on. Then AW ran around the house saying "coat....shoes....coat....shoes...." as he looked for his coat and shoes (he knows he's not allowed outside without them)- he decided that if I had to leave, he was going to leave with me. Oh, I hated to let him down. That is the worst part of having to go to work everyday- actually leaving. Often, he stands on the couch so he can watch me drive away. The look on his face breaks my heart....
