Roman Blood

Started a new book recently. Quite a switch from my previous read. Called Roman Blood by Steven Saylor. It's an historical novel murder mystery that takes place in ancient Rome just before the fall of the Republic. While it tells a lot about what life was like back then, it uses modern vernacular and leaves me forgetting that it's taking place in ancient Rome. All in all, though, I am enjoying the book.
