Zoo Trip

Went to the zoo with the families of HL's preschool friends over the weekend. Had a splendid time watching the kids- the animals don't excite me too much, but watching children I know sure does. AW especially. He was SOO excited and happy to see all the animals he's recently learned to identify. The favorite of the day (of all the children, I suspect) was the Spider Monkeys. They were very playful and rather entertaining indeed. We took our two on a train ride which just might have been the highlight of their day- even above the monkeys. AW is looking a bit concerned here, but he loved it once it started moving...
