On that day:

Et Tu, Tag?

I read this post over at Anchor Rising today (HT Instapundint). It really resonated with me; mainly this quote:
THERE'S SOMETHING profoundly sick about a society that aggressively markets sex and violence to children through addictive electronics, but won't let them play tag.
I've been reading about this trend of banning tag from the playground for a while. It is going the way of dodge ball, flag football and keeping score in soccer. Too dangerous. Too many hurt feelings. Too many lawyers. Heaven forbid todays kids play a favorite from my child hood, smear the queer, way too many injuries and hurt feelings there. Imagine the outrage...
Boy, the playground's become a dangerous place. Thank God someone is stepping in to protect our children.

Or, maybe, just maybe, virtual pain would be less enticing if we did't shelter our kids so much from real pain.

And how, Borther! I am also reeling from discust. When will it end? Here's a good one for you on a similar note: FSA (A fed agency)has a dandy new program for "Socially Disadvantaged Persons" where they guarantee loans up to 95% for blacks, or excuse me African Americans, women, hispanics, Hawaiins, or excuse me Pacific Islanders, and orientals(I get it. That word applies to food and rugs, not people), or excuse me Asian Americans who wish to purchase or start operating a "family sized" farm. HAHAHAHAHA. So much for all the poor white guys, or excuse me Euro Americans, who have historically been the producers of this country. Lets hope that all the socially disadvantaged can be as productive as their predecessors.

And another thing. If we are all so sick of PC fascism, why can't we speak loud and clear about it? Is it just because we don't want to be called names like racist, republican, or hate monger? We should stand up for free thought and common sense. Who are these wackos in charge and how do we disband them?

Peace and Love,
Jennifer
