Valuable Life Lesson Learned

I have this hair dryer that is part hair dryer, part curling iron, part bristled round brush, and part torture device.... I was busy getting ready one recent morning in my nasty hot bathroom. In my undies. Only my undies. I was drying my hair so that the ends curled under when my hair dryer slipped out of my hand. Instinctively, I tried to catch it as it fell. But what I actually accomplished was something completely different- I managed to burn myself both on my hand and my bare belly. Ouch! Damnit! Yep. I am now the proud owner of a blistering burn just south of my belly button. Joyful. And the lesson? Wear clothes while styling my hair. Nah. There's no fun in that. But I will let hot things fall as they may from now on!
