Sleepy talk

AW spent the night in bed with us last night. At one point, he murmured in a state of half-sleep: "Mommy, we are family." Then moments later: "That makes us good and strong." Then sailed back to dreamland. With my recent depression, among other things, we have (obviously) been having some issues in our household lately. This proclamation was just the reminder and affirmation that I needed. How often does one receive such a solid lesson from their three year old? We ARE family. Indeed.
