The Universe Provides

In my mailbox yesterday, I found what appeared to be a Christmas card. The weird thing about it was that our name and address were typed, then taped on the envelope and the return address was missing. Now who do we know that would address a Christmas card in that fashion? Intrigued, I tore open the envelope. What I found within brought me to tears. It was indeed a Christmas card, only instead of a handwritten message were the typed words "Merry Christmas- The Universe will provide"; and it contained a grocery card to Safeway. We want to tell whoever it is the Universe is working through, a very heartfelt and huge THANK YOU!!! We are so touched by your generosity and thoughtfulness. The Universe (God, really) has been very present in our lives recently. Not only did we receive our oh-so-thoughtful gift of the grocery money, we have been blessed with hand-me-downs which continue to clothe our children, I am able to borrow some very nice maternity outfits, my parents feed us dinner often and search the thrift stores for whatever we may need (they get a 50% senior discount), the federal government will be giving us some extra money in Hubby's loan next month which will cover the mortgage for my maternity leave, and my incredible sister has also given us a grocery card and has spent the last three Saturdays assisting me in my insane purging and nesting mission. We are overwhelmed by the wonderful people in our lives, helping us through this tough time. Even though we say THANK YOU, we are at a loss for words to fully express our gratitude. Instead, we have decided that the best thing we can do is solemnly vow to pay all these favors forward. In threefold. Thank you everyone! We love you all!
